List of Restaurants Re-Opened After the Lockdown

Some of your favorite restaurants have finally re-opened after about 6 months of lockdown, although some restaurants resoluted to take out/deliveries to keep their businesses afloat.  On the 1st of August, the governor of Lagos state issued a directive to re-open restaurants for in-dining from the 14th of august, Lagosians received this news with great delight “finally some good news from sanwo-Olu”, this directive came with some conditions.

”Restaurants will now be permitted to open for in-dining services from the 14th of August, on the condition that they maintain a 50% occupancy capacity. The restaurants must obtain a provisional safety compliance certificate through the LSSC registration portal”.

The governor also noted that all the mandatory prevention and control measures issued by the government must be adhered to, this includes social and physical distancing, temperature checks, use of face mask, and hand sanitization in these public places, as this will reduce the spread of the virus. Restaurants that fail to adhere to the conditions and control measures would be forcefully shut down and would face the law.
